Facilities and Operations

Led by Jane Schneider, Associate Vice President

Facilities and Operations is responsible for administering outsourced contracts for campus services, the collection and reporting of campus space utilization, campus sustainability, leadership on the campus built environment, and the production, delivery, and management of utilities and energy.

Facilities and Dining Administration

Is responsible for administering the maintenance, landscape, custodial, and dining contracts for the campus services outsourced to Compass Group in 2012.

Mapping and Space Information

Collects, analyzes, and reports facilities, land use, and related spatial data to support and enhance the academic, research, and service missions of Texas A&M University and the Texas A&M University System agencies.

Office of Sustainability

Provides vision and leadership for campus sustainability; implements programs and planning to encourage sustainable practices.

Office of the University Architect

Provides leadership, vision, and professional guidance in the planning, design, and construction of the campus built environment.

Utilities & Energy Services

UES manages the Texas A&M University System Energy Management Program integrating data from 12 System campuses and 775 utility meters while serving 30 million gross sq. ft. on the Texas A&M University campus. Other services include solid waste, recycling services, and domestic water services.
